Peat (or Turve) Machinery

My main interest in this forum is the peat harvesting machinery. I do not speak any Finnish so I'm struggling with the forum a bit.

I have been looking about for any books on the history of peat harvesting machinery here in the UK but there is nothing available, which I find quite surprising and there have been a lot of weird and wonderful machines, and tractor conversions made for the peat industry over the years.

As Finland seems to have quite a large peat industry I was wondering if any books have been published in Finland on the history of peat harvesting machinery? As long as there are lots of pictures I'm not worried about what language it is in

Maybe there is some books in Finnish libraries, I dont know.

Considering how many books have been written on the history of farming and forestry, I think it seems strange that nobody has written a book on it!!
