I am happy to present my tweaked S version of the Ponsse ScorpionKing Harvester, version 1.1, with a self-levelling cab and improved performance.
The ScorpionKing S can climb 30% gradients without struggling and can tackle other obstacles with ease. The standard ScorpionKing simply cannot handle these obstacles and crawls to a stop.
I decided to not increase the power, as I feel that would have been against the spirit of making "better vehicles". The machine makes the same HP as the in-game one.
Top speed remains unchanged at 13 MPH.
What's changed:
Weight reduced to a more realistic figure
Differentials
Suspension settings
Cab levelling now works
The "self-braking" has been toned down so that the vehicle tends to roll a bit more when the accelerator is not depressed
Cutting length changed to 7 metres
Added rental option
Reduced daily maintenance on purchasable version to 650
The mod pack includes the option to buy or rent.
Rent Charges:
1000 non-refundable deposit
1000 - delivery and pickup charge - reduced to 800 if vehicle is returned to the dealer shop
1000 per day rental charge
Known issues:
The bogeys still lift a little bit but less than the standard one
Ideally cutting length could be increased more but this glitches out so I have kept it at 7m for now
